METHODOLOGY

All of our consultants understand the need to build pragmatic and simplistic solutions to what may be quite complex business needs as they have all, at some time in their careers, worked in operational roles. To achieve this we have developed some robust data capture and analysis tools and a very practical approach that involves breaking the project down into discrete phases and workstreams.

It is our belief that all assignments involve the management of change and we approach each project with the same key steps of phases:

Phase 0 - Alignment of Objectives
Most change projects are driven by corporate needs. It is a fundamental requirement in any change management project to ensure that the key stakeholders in the corporate organisation have a strategic alignment of their objectives.

ChangeStone are able to facilitate workshops and other strategic debates to ensure that objectives are aligned prior to commencement.

Phase 1 - Analysis
We have the expertise to gather and analyse data and information from the many available sources inside an organisation, both human and electronic. Either working with the existing team, or independently, we can then apply our knowledge of best practice within the industry to identify achievable improvement opportunities targeting the agreed strategic goals.

Phase 2 – Development of the implementation plan
All project management training starts with the basis that Proper Planning Prevents Poor
Performance. ChangeStone are experts at taking the agreed strategic objectives and building an implementation plan that can achieve those objectives.

We have the experience of many complex and critical change projects and we are able to bring that expertise to the table to assist clients in building a robust and achievable plan.

Phase 3 – Delivery
This is the key part of any project and ChangeStone can bring proven Project Management
techniques to ensure successful delivery. We understand how to manage the discipline of day-to-day administration of a project, to allocate and track actions, to maintain risk registers, to manage various meetings and produce the audit trail required at the end of a project to demonstrate compliance with any policy or mandatory requirements. This is particularly relevant for outsourcing projects where the OJEU regulations may apply.

Phase 4 – Maintenance and Ongoing Operation
ChangeStone can construct Management Systems and/or provide interim managers for ongoing audit and compliance management of processes.
